WORLD ON FIRE is ’s third straight solo album to debut in the Top Ten in the U.S. and is the second album with his official band The Conspirators: Myles Kennedy (vocals), Brent Fitz (drums), Todd Kerns (bass) and Frank Sidoris (touring guitarist). The 17-track album–released in September 2014 via SLASH’s own label Dik Hayd International—features the album’s title track and first single “World On Fire,” which ascended to #1 at U.S. Rock Radio, along with the single “Bent To Fly,” that showcases SLASH’s stellar guitar work and Kennedy’s vocal command of both high and low ranges.  Watch the band’s performance of “Bent To Fly” on “Conan” (HERE). The album also garnered SLASH some of the best critical acclaim of his career, with Jude Gold of Guitar Player noting the album, “features some of the warmest-rock guitar textures, most dimensional and contrapuntal guitar arrangements, and most downright killin’ riffs Slash has ever delivered” (October 2014 cover story) and M Music & Musicians’ Russell Hall praising, “WORLD ON FIRE is nonetheless focused firmly on what Slash does bestdelivering searing, guitar-drenched rock. In his nearly three-decade career, that consistency has never wavered” (Feb-April 2015 cover story).

On June 16, SLASH and The Conspirators released ‘LIVE AT THE ROXY 9/25/14’ via Eagle Rock Entertainment, a live concert available on DVD, Blu-ray, 3LP and 2CD through all major retailers and digital formats, and online as a BitTorrent Bundle, (here). Shortly after the release of World On Fire, the iconic American rock guitarist, songwriter and film producer took the stage with his band at the legendary Roxy Theatre on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, CA—a staple of rock history that helped birth countless bands, including Guns ‘N’ Roses—to give fans a brilliant opportunity to see the band up close as they delivered a set packed with recent solo tracks, including several from the new album, plus classics from Slash’s days with Guns ‘N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver such as “Ghost,” “Back From Cali,” “World On Fire,” “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” “Anastasia,” “Paradise City,” “Slither,” “Nightrain” and many more. The intimate setting inspired the band to deliver a scintillating, dynamic performance that is brilliantly captured on ‘LIVE AT THE ROXY 9/25/14’. SLASH’s guitar prowess paired with the raw energy of MYLES KENNEDY & THE CONSPIRATORS proves a truly potent live force and ‘LIVE AT THE ROXY 9/25/14’ sets the benchmark for high octane rock n roll shows.

Recently, SLASH and his band partnered with IFAW, the International Fund for Animal Welfare to raise awareness of the slaughter of elephants which is leading to their early extinction. The U.S.-based charity IFAW works around the world on every aspect of the elephant crisis–on the front lines to stop the killing of elephants, in transit countries to stop the trafficking of ivory and in consumer countries to stop the demand for ivory products.
