Hailing from championship starved Cleveland, OH, Sink The Ship is hoping their blend of hardcore, metal, and pop will earn them a championship as they release their first material since their 2014 Reflections EP. The single, entitled “Out Of Here,” is off the band’s full length album that they are currently recording. Vocalist Colton Ulery had this to say, “While struggle and doubt is the no-brainer recipe for a song about setbacks, being under the pressure of the industry has only been fuel to the fire, and it’s also the inspiration for our new single. We wanted to let our fans know that even through all the struggles, we are having the time of our lives doing what we love to do.
About Sink The Ship
Born in late 2012, Sink the Ship came out swinging when they arrived on the scene. Being heavily influenced by both post-hardcore bands and today’s metal artists, they were able to harness a sound that had one foot in the past and the other in the future; making it a relatable sound for today’s metal fans. In February of 2014, the band released their debut EP titled Reflections. The EP is a kaleidoscope of catchy guitar riffs, passionate lyrics, and heavy driven drums meshing together to create their unique sound which blends pop, metal, and hardcore.
