Stuart Smith Aero Guitars, the award-winning guitarist and founder of the critically acclaimed hard rock band , has signed an exclusive endorsement deal with Seattle-based Aero3 Guitars, a boutique manufacturer of unrivaled and unique guitars and basses. Aero3 Guitars recently announced the release of their “Aero3 Signature Model” (prototype pictured above and below), their new guitar brand infusing aerospace technology into the guitar body to create a crisp, long lasting tonal quality while reducing the weight of the guitar by approximately 50%.

“This is without a doubt the best sounding and easiest to play guitar I have ever held in my hands,” says . “As some of you will know, I have been a Strat player for all of my life so it was a huge decision for me to even think about using a different instrument, but the minute I picked it up and plugged it in I knew this was the guitar sound I’d been looking for all my life. The sustain is unbelievable, even at low volume and it only weighs about 6 pounds compared to the 9 or 10 pounds my Strats weigh. The workmanship is first class and the neck feels like butter.”

Aero3 Guitars founder/CEO and aerospace engineer Rob Austin developed the idea for “Aero3 Stuart Smith Signature Model” by incorporating aerospace technology concepts used for flight control surfaces to improve the overall sustain and sound. Says Rob, “The Aero3 guitar is a game changer in guitar design. It looks similar to other high quality brand name guitars; however, the difference is on the inside where the body is infused with aerospace technology. This revolutionary change makes a huge difference in tactile response, tone, sustain and playability.” Aero3 Guitars President Rick Reynolds, who has 20 years of entrepreneurial expertise assisting companies by bringing new products featuring advanced technology into the marketplace or expanding existing technologies into other vertical markets, adds: “Rob reached into the heavens to grasp the aerospace technology and infused it with the woods of the earth; therefore it is fitting that Aero3’s first sponsored guitarist is Stuart Smith from .”

The “Aero3 Stuart Smith Signature Model” will be available to purchase at aero3guitars.com beginning later this year.
