Future Villains Performs in the Viper Room Anniversary Week Line-up

fv_viper2014_005Making a second appearance in the same week as part of the Viper Room 21st Anniversary Week Celebration, Future Villains warmed the stage for Steel Panther on August 14th, 2014. With their mass appeal creating quite a stir, the band bears resemblance to the ideological description of a Sunset Strip Hard Rock Band with black leather and tattoos and a clean guitar distortion that harkens back to the analog era. With the floor packed to near capacity, the band proved just why they’re the one band to perform twice during the weeklong celebration at the Viper. This is why they were chosen to open for Steel Panther on the National tour for All You Can Eat in the month of May.

fv_viper2014_011Just two and a half years new, Future Villains has made the grade with a strong 5 song EP release and their 2013 YouTube issued video for the song Devil In Her Bones has gathered more then 13,000 views and a wide viral spread on the social media network. Well-rehearsed and mesmerizing on stage, the band offers a great representation of the new direction rock and metal is taking on the local LA scene. Hard working and on the rise, the group has been making consistent weekly local appearances since returning from the national tour schedule.

Starting the week, the band shared the stage with the DC rockers Charm City Devils and fellow local favorites Mad Temple on Sunday the tenth. Opening for the “Secret Steel Panther Show” marked show number two. Throughout the set, the band performed a series of their own works and offered their personal take on AC/DC’s song titled If You Want Blood to a great fan response.  The set list has been the same on recent performances.

06. Reject
07. Down The Drain Blues

The band’s website hasn’t been updated with new show dates at the writing of this article, but hard rock fanatics are urged to friend the band on Facebook and visit their official website often to keep up on the latest news.
