2012 NAMM Show Coverage and Highlights
For those of you unfamiliar with NAMM, it stands for the National Association of Music Merchants and they just completed their 110th show in Anaheim, CA and reached new record numbers! At show close, NAMM reported 95,709 registered attendees, a six percent increase from last year. International registration also experienced a 15 percent increase from last year to 11,981. The association previously reported strong exhibitor numbers, with 1,441 exhibitors at this year’s show, including 236 new exhibitors.
NAMM is not only a 4-day long business event, it is a party! If you’re a musician, a music enthusiast or just a music fan then NAMM is your Disneyland. Although the show is not open to the public, the “public” seems to wrangle themselves tickets each and every year to come out and meet some of their favorite musicians and rock stars.
