Critically acclaimed and platinum-selling blues-rock band BIG HEAD TODD & THE MONSTERS have landed back on the AAA charts with their new song “Wipeout Turn,” entering this week at #29.  The song and its accompanying video were debuted by GUITARWORLD.COM, which you can see here.

The band–TODD PARK MOHR, BRIAN NEVIN, ROB SQUIRES and JEREMY LAWTON–kicked off a tour January 12 with support act Mike Doughty that wrapped this weekend in Texas.   The band will return to Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheater June 11 with special guest opener DWIGHT YOAKAM.  Their last appearance in Colorado was to perform at the Denver Broncos Super Bowl parade in February.

BIG HEAD TODD & THE MONSTERS–who have been together for 31 years— released a brand-new live album, Live At Red Rocks June 6, 2015, in September.  BHTM have played the famed Colorado venue more than 20 times throughout their career, but this marks their first official live recording there and third live album overall.  The album features BHTM favorites like “Bittersweet,” “Broken Hearted Savior” and “Sister Sweetly” as well as fiery covers of the Rolling Stones’ “Bitch” and Led Zeppelin’s “Misty Mountain Hop.” Meanwhile, check out a wide-ranging exclusive interview with Todd and Jay Smith of Pollstar here

BHTM formed in Columbine, CO in 1984 as a trio, with Lawton joining in 2004.  They are one of the longest-running groups with all founding members in all rock history, and remain friends today.  “We just like making music together,” says drummer Brian Nevin, and bassist Rob Squires agrees.  “We started as friends, and are proud to still have this wonderful opportunity to make music for our fans, friends and family.”
