DREAM THEATER have announced they will extend their world tour by continuing on to South America after the second leg of North American dates wrap in Chester, PA on July 21. The South American run, in support of their Grammy-nominated and globally successful album A DRAMATIC TURN OF EVENTS (Roadrunner), will launch in Guatemala City, Guatemala on August 8 and will include stops in El Salvador,  Costa Rica, Columbia, Argentina, Chile and Brazil.

The tour will conclude September 1 at the Ulysses Guimaraes in Brasilia, Brazil, almost a full year after the progressive hard rock icons first went on the road in support of the new album. It will also give the band–James LaBrie (Vocals), John Myung (Bass), John Petrucci (Guitar and Vocals), Jordan Rudess (Keyboards and Continuum) and Mike Mangini (Drums)–a special chance to play Guatemala, El Salvador and Costa Rica for the first time in their career.

Tickets, Meet & Greet and VIP packages are available now for the North American tour which launches June 15 in Rochester, NY. Please visit for details.
