, have released the new video ,” out today.   Shot on location in Los Angeles last month with director P.R. Brown, the song is the first single off the group’s fourth and most ambitious album to date, SYNTHESIS, set for release November 10. The album is a reimagining of some of ’s best-loved songs-as well as a couple of new ones–recorded with a full orchestra and electronics combined with the band and ’s virtuoso piano and voice. Watch the behind-the-scenes video story and band interviews from Revolver magazine.

describes the concept of the video for ,” “This collaboration with P.R. Brown has just gotten better and more crucial as we’ve gone along. It started out with the ‘’ artwork, I told him how I saw the music, as this co-existence of synthetic and organic, the contrast and the blend of two very different elements. He interpreted that visually into mixing media, hand painting on photographs, putting every shot into its own unique universe. The idea for the ‘’ video was about bringing that art to life, and capturing the emotion of the lyrics. Our amazing young actress, Rogue Parker, plays the role of me as a girl, my inner-self. The video is meant to give visual to feeling, an internal picture of processing loss, and life, speaking from an adult’s perspective to my past self.”

“This is such a powerful track that resonates on a truly emotional level,” adds director P.R. Brown. “The goal we wanted to achieve in the video was to create a visual translation of the music and reveal the meaning in an abstract way. We all struggle in life and need help to get through everything. In this case we wanted to show that sometimes the strength needed to get through has to come from you.”

have just launched their U.S. and Canadian  tour–which features AMY and the band embedded with a live, 28-piece orchestra and electronic programming delivering a transcendent experience. With only three shows behind them, the critical acclaim is already pouring in for this unique concert event. Tickets for EVANESCENCE’s  fall tour (see all dates below) are on-sale now (here).

Evanescence lead singer made the leap from goth-rocker to opera diva last night, and she and the band led a 28-piece orchestra through a sold-out performance at the Greek Theatre. Both the concert and the album, offer a re-imagining of the group’s catalog with a full symphony orchestra, arranged by none other than Beck’s father, veteran arrangerDavid Campbell, whose collaboration with the band goes back to the group’s first album. The concert was the second of Evanescence’s current ’ tour, as they team up with a different symphony orchestra-under the direction of conductor Susie Seiter-in each city for an 80-minute, 18-song set….Lee firmly re-establishes herself as one of rock’s pre-eminent vocalists, exhibiting an impressive range that still packs a wallop, this time cutting through a full orchestra.…she and the ensemble turn the familiar material–including crowd favorites like the GRAMMY-winning ‘Bring Me To Life,’ ‘My Immortal,’ ‘Lithium’ and ‘Your Star’–into full-throttle, wide-screen epics, its themes of loss, guilt and self-doubt enlarged to tragedy on the Greek proscenium. The arrangements substitute strings, woodwinds, brass, synthsand drum machines for electric guitars and bass, while maintaining drummer Will Hunt’s booming beats (augmented on-stage by album co-producer William B. Hunt)…a  of rock, classical and EDM.”–Roy Trakin, VARIETY (10/17/17)

“…one of the most beautiful showsThe band and orchestra brought drama and passion to the performance, with front woman Amy Lee’s haunting vocals leading the way as they performed songs such as ‘Bring Me to Life,’ ‘My Immortal’ and ‘My Heart is Broken,’as well as new songs like ‘Imperfection.’–Denise Truscello, LAS VEGAS INFORMER MAGAZINE (10/15/15)

On , EVANESCENCE–lead singer-songwriter and pianist AMY LEE, bassist TIM MCCORD, drummer WILL HUNT, lead guitarist TROY MCLAWHORN and guitarist/background vocalist JEN MAJURA–worked with co-producer/programmer WILLIAM HUNT and orchestra arranger and composer David Campbell on SYNTHESIS. The album also features two new EVANESCENCE songs, including the first single “Imperfection” and “Hi-Lo,”the latter of which includes a guest performance by famed violinist Lindsey Stirling.
