Martha Davis & The Motels have signed with Vesuvio Artists Management, and its principal, Greg H. Sims, for worldwide personal management. Sims is the CEO of parent company Vesuvio Entertainment Corporation, based in Los Angeles, and an emerging brand in the indie feature world. Their recent films include the in house production the Redbox hit BEHIND YOUR EYES, starring Tom Sandoval from Bravo’s new hit show Vanderpump Rules, the spinoff of Beverly Hills Housewives.  Vesuvio is also the international distributor for the indie success CRAIGSLIT JOE, which was Executive Produced by Zach Galifianakis.  Vesuvio is also producing ALL SIX FEET, to be directed by actor Vincent Spano.  ALL SIX FEET chronicles the relationship between music promoter “Punkin Pie” Irene Laughlin and actress Lana Clarkson, who died in Phil Spector’s mansion in 2003.

Sims has a long history of managing successful artists, most recently the European superstar Anouk, who is the #1 Dutch recording artist of all time, and Sims received multiple certified Gold and Platinum records during his multi year working relationship with her. Previously, Sims managed many well-known actors, including Facts of Life star Nancy McKeon, her brother Philip McKeon, Michael Gross of “Family Ties,” Emmy winner Scott Jacoby, and Golden Globe nominee Joseph Bottoms.

Martha Davis and her group The Motels are Vesuvio’s first signing in the music arena.  Sims commented, “Martha Davis is, as Robert Hilburn once accurately said,  ‘arguably the most charismatic female performer in rock’, and I am thrilled to represent her and The Motels at this very exciting juncture in the band’s history.”

Davis was been honored with inclusion in the LEGENDS concert at last weekend’s NAMM show, where she performed several of her legacy songs, including Only the Lonely” and  “Suddenly Last Summer,” with a backing band of some of the best known musicians in the world. Her performance was one of the most anticipated of the NAMM show.  She and her group joined over 35 artists from legendary bands like Three Dog Night, Blue Oyster Cult, Iron Maiden, Asia, Yes, Bad Company, BB King, Quiet Riot and more in NAMM’s 7th Annual Living Legends Concert.
