opeth-billboard-posterSweden’s musical alchemists, OPETH have returned with a long-awaited, monumental album, Sorceress, which has debuted on Billboard charts in the U.S. at #8 Top Current Sales, #24 Top 200, #1 Hard Music, #4 Independent Label and #5 Vinyl. The new record has exceeded the first week sales of the band’s previous release, Pale Communion. Additionally, Sorceress is charting around the world with the UK reporting #11, Germany at #1, Australia at #7 and Holland at #11.

OPETH’s 12th studio album, Sorceress, has garnered high praise from fans and critics around the world, and finds the band at their most creative and progressive peak in their long celebrated career. The dynamic new music picks up where Pale Communion left off and dives deeper into the cerebral, psych rock the band has evolved towards over the last several records.
