shares, “The song and video are about escaping from something, but I’d doesn’t really spell out exactly what…. leaving a lot to the imagination. I think we all have things in our lives we’d like to escape, so it’s definitely a relatable theme. The prison facility (Sybil Brand Institute) we shot at in Downtown LA adds a level of creepiness that I love and this video was really fun to make.”

is an American Singer/guitarist/songwriter best known for his work in rock band , and his solo material.

Sean started back in the late 90’s in Los Angeles California, and in 2002 they signed a major label record deal with Lava/Atlantic. With ’s self-titled debut album, it soon turned certified gold with sales in excess of 500K+ and was spawning three billboard charting singles, including the biggest Rock/Alternative hits of the year: Bottom of a Bottle, Silhouettes, and Nowhere Kids.  And soon led to tours with Breaking Benjamin, Seether, Three Days Grace, and Buckcherry.

In between recording and road schedules, Sean began working on solo material that was a little “off the beaten path” for Smile Empty Soul, releasing his first solo EP “Enjoy The Process” in 2013 with producer Eddie Wohl (36 Crazyfist, Ill Nino, World Fire Brigade) for the six track acoustic record.  Since then, he released “Food Chain” in 2014, “Product of Isolation” in early 2017, and now the highly anticipated EP “Mind Control To Steal The Soul,” out today.

Sean Danielsen shares, “This EP is really different than anything I’ve ever released in the past, so I’m excited to hear what people think about it. It’s such a different approach than a Smile Empty Soul record and I had an absolute blast making it! I hope fans can get into it even if it’s something unexpected”
