Israeli Metal Masters, SHREDHEAD, are proud to release a new single and video from their upcoming album for the track “Overshadows.”  See the video for “Overshadows” today via MetalInjection –

The song’s concept is, as explained by vocalist Aharon Rogoza,  “the idea of treasuring the moments that made you suffer in life to appreciate existence as you chose to live it, no matter the consequences and with each song unfolding the true nature of a human being.”  He adds that “(the) new single “Overshadows” is the essence of our new album – powerful and groovy with a personal statement about how we chose to live our lives as individuals.”

SHREDHEAD, recorded their forthcoming album, entitled LIVE UNHOLY, at Antfarm Studios in Denmark, with Tue Madsen (Meshuggah, Suicide Silence, Baby Metal, Sick of It All) at the helm, producing, mixing and mastering.  The album is due out via Legend Recordings on 5/25.
SHREDHEAD, consisting of Rogoza, Yotam Nagor and Razi Elbaz on guitars, Lee Lavy on bass and Roee Kahana on drums, have a live tradition that started with their victory in the 2012 Israeli Metal Battle and moved to the Wacken Metal Battle in Germany where they represented their home country.  Over the years the band has performed with the likes of Biohazard, Vader, Hate, Overkill, Crowbar, Thy Art Is Murder, Carcass, Suffocation and will continue this year with dates supporting Devildriver.
SHREDHEAD’s debut record titled HUMAN NATURE was a rare thrash-metal hell-raiser maintaining the traditional thrash-metal aesthetics of the 80’s combined with modern and relentless sound.  The album was released in Israel in August 2011.  SHREDHEAD’s follow-up, DEATH IS RIGHTEOUS was mixed and mastered by Tue Madsen and came out through the Danish Label Target/Mighty Music in Jan. 2015.  DEATH IS RIGHTEOUS redefined the band’s musical style, making it more mature, more melodic, more groovy, and subsequently much heavier than anything they had done before.
