This Halloween, THE SMASHING PUMPKINS were set to perform in New York City at Brooklyn’s new Barclays Center, but due to the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, the show has been rescheduled for Monday, December 10.
Having heavily disrupted the Northeast, Hurricane Sandy also forced the band to reschedule their shows in Camden, NJ for December 8 and Fairfax, VA for December 9. The SMASHING PUMPKINS will now resume their tour December 1 in Portland, ME and wrap the year at the December 10 performance in Brooklyn.

At the four rescheduled arena shows (12/2, 12/8, 12/9 & 12/10), the PUMPKINS–singer/guitarist BILLY CORGAN, guitarist JEFF SCHROEDER, drummer MIKE BYRNE and bassist NICOLE FIORENTINO–are performing their new OCEANIA CD in full and for the second half of the show they play classics and deep cuts from their body of work. The PUMPKINS are backed by visuals prepared by Sean Evans, whose most recent project was assisting Roger Waters on the newest staging of “The Wall.” The PUMPKINS are using new technology in video-mapping to create something new and previously unseen. Joining the PUMPKINS for the four rescheduled arena shows is English group Morning Parade. NOTE: PUMPKINS concert dates on 12/1, 12/4 and 12/6 are theatre shows that have been added to complete the routing of the rescheduled dates and will not feature the full arena production.
