On October 27th, LA-based THE STRIPMINERS will play a special pre-release party in Los Angeles at Echo Country Outpost. An evening of hand selected bands, chosen by the band members, will perform in and around the complex. In addition, there will be Special Guests sitting in when THE STRIPMINERS take the stage. The band will be pre-selling their new album with a limited edition version in white vinyl for fans to pick-up that evening.
Although THE STRIPMINERS feature members of such disparate bands, the music they create together fuses into a truly remarkable group effort. It is at once epically cinematic with emotionally tortured lyrics and slo-mo guitars, supported by lethargic deep bass picking– perfectly dark music for the impending gloom of the season.
The LA show will be the perfect place to celebrate the pre-Halloween weekend with a one of a kind rock n’ horror filled Release Party at the Echo Country Outpost, an open arts and performance space. The entire venue will be transformed into a freaky haunted house, complete with characters dressed as ghouls, witches, etc. THE STRIPMINERS will be playing songs from their new album, Frail Hope Ranch, for the first time live. Additional artists will be performing both inside and outside, creating the perfect evening for a haunted, gothic hoe-down record release party. (http://www.echocountryoutpost.com)
