Throw The Fight‘s newest record “The Vault” (March 19) has hit Billboard! The record is #137 Top New Artist and #45 Alternative New Artist. The band will be celebrating by hitting the road for two weeks with Three Years Hollow, a week with Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and more dates and festivals to be announced. ALL dates below!
Speaking on the new record “The Vault“, guitarist Ryan Baustert commented, It’s going to be good to get some more tunes out there for everyone to hear. These songs are tracks that we recorded prior to “What Doesn’t Kill Us” and we’ve been saving them for a rainy day. Vocalist James Clark added, The heart of the lyrics are about still having hope when the world seems against you. It’s about seeing the big picture and understanding that you can’t change the hand you have been dealt but you can make choices to change your outcome. No matter how difficult or hard some things seem, choose to change your own ending. Its your story and you are the writer.
The band just premiered their new music video for “Lights Out For Summer” last week at VEVO! The video was directed by Graham Fielder (The Paramedic, Beyond The Shore) and was filmed while the band was on tour in Columbus, OH. Luckily the guys got the shots they needed in time before getting kicked out of the location by park rangers! Check out the behind-the-scenes on the new video, as well as their new video for their hit single “Not So Hollywood“.
Throw The Fight released their new album “What Doesn’t Kill Us” this past June and the album continues the tradition of former acts from Minneapolis by delivering an authentic display of metal-edged, hard rock. It’s the kind of energy one hears on the band’s newest album, the John Feldmann (Atreyu, The Used) produced, “What Doesn’t Kill Us“. The new single has had significant airplay and spins on Music Choice, SiriusXM Octane, CILU, KEYJ, KGAR, KILO, KISW, KMRQ, KQXR, KRDJ, KXXR, WAQX, WCPR, WEOS, WGRD, WHMH, WIIL, WJJR, WJRR, WRAT, WWBN, WWHG, WXCI, WXRX, and WZOR!
Stay tuned for new music, tour dates, music videos, singles, and much more from Throw The Fight in 2013!
