June 18th, 2019 – Today, GRAMMY® Award-winning rock band announced their Fantastic Traveling Music Show coming this Fall 2019. The 26-city tour kicks off on October 3rd in Des Moines, IA and will hit major markets across the U.S. and Canada. With this tour, promises a brand-new experience for their fans, with a deep dive into their catalog as well as playing hits old and new. Each night will consist of two sets back-to-back, the first a stripped-down acoustic set with never before heard stories woven throughout followed by a full-blown rock show to end the night.  When asked about the fire that fuels their acclaimed live performance, bassist Tim Foreman says, “We don’t play all these different shows all over the world to JUST bring people together. We play these songs to show that all along we never were that far apart.”

This tour follows the release of ’s highly acclaimed 11th studio album which debuted at #2 on Billboard’s Rock Albums Chart and the Spring 2019 tour which saw the band perform to sold-out crowds at prestigious venues nationwide including The Ryman in Nashville, TN and The Wiltern in Los Angeles, CA.

Last month, the band released the six-track, Live From The Tour Digital EP which includes five live songs recorded during the band’s powerful performance at the Tabernacle in Atlanta, GA along with the original album version of “.” They also shared live videos for “NATIVE TONGUE” and “TAKE MY FIRE” that captured the quintet’s signature high-energy performance and passionate connection with their fans.

Additionally, this summer SWITCHFOOT will host their annual BRO-AM Beach Fest in their hometown of San Diego, CA on June 29th. A Southern California summer staple, the fest brings tens of thousands of people together for an empowering weekend of giving back through surf, food, fun, and live music. The band will also join legendary rock band Bon Jovi on select dates during their This House Is Not For Sale Summer 2019 tour.
