crop IMG_5721On April 3, 2015, devout followers of congregated to a packed house at the Whisky a Go Go to worship at the Temple of Rock. The rock idols didn’t take the stage ’til nearly midnight, but from the moment they made their grand, belated entrance down the stairs, the crowd went absolutely wild.

The lineup consists of three former Scorpions members: Guitar: (Scorpions, UFO) Drums: Herman Rarebell (Scorpions, Acoustic Fever) Bass: Francis Buchholz (Scorpions) Guitar: Wayne Findlay (Uli Jon Roth, Vinnie Moore Band) and on Vocals: Doogie White (Cornerstone, Rainbow, Yngwie Malmsteen)

The UFO song, Rock Bottom had a long guitar solo, where all eyes were glued to Schenker’s incredible fingers on the fretboard. Schenker then closed out the night with the Scorpions classic Blackout.
