PYROMANIA – AXS TV’s The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands

As AXS TV’s The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands kicks off it’s fourth season, the crowds at the world famous Whisky A Go Go appear to be larger and more enthusiastic than ever! All participants of past, present and future shows are not only welcomed, but encouraged to attend as many shows as possible and this night was no exception. Spotted on the red carpet as well as in the VIP area were Ozzy Osbourne and Bon Scott tribute vocalists along with several others all there to show their support for Pyromania, a tribute to Def Leppard. As the now famous “GUNTER, GLIEBEN, GLAUSEN, GLOBEN” boomed through the house P.A. the band, consisting of members Michael O’Mara as Joe Elliott, Neal Shelton as Steve Clark, John Kulczyk as Phil Collen, Bob “ThunderBob” Duda as Rick Allen and Patrick McGrath as Rick Savage, took the stage with a palpable energy that would transfer to this standing room only crowd. Covering all the hits and more, Pyromania blasted through their one-hour set with Rock Of Ages, Pour Some Sugar On Me, Let’s Get Rocked, Photograph and Rocket to name but a few.

Voted the #1 Def Leppard Tribute Band In America, Pyromania has been busy touring the country all summer long, which culminated with this, their LIVE television appearance on week two of AXS TV’s The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands, hosted by Katie Daryl. During the one and only commercial break, Daryl takes to the microphone to get this already raucous crowd revved up even more for the second half of the show. A seasoned professional, she masterfully handles her multiple duties throughout the evening, along with being the show’s host, she is also producer and can be found Tweeting, Facebooking, etc. during the show’s live broadcast. In a recent interview on RadioScreamer, she explains the show’s concept, audition process and casting procedures, so bands and fans of the show can have a greater insight as to what goes into each season’s production.
