Eye Sea I - LegendEstonia post-hardcore outfit Eye Sea I is pleased to announce that their debut album Legend, which has been more than a year in the making, is finally completed and is slated for a summer release currently. On the process Anton Yelovikov commented, “Well we started to record a lot of material in September of 2011 that we eventually shifted through and chose only the finest material.” The debut was mixed and mastered by Jamie King (Between The Buried And Me, Wretched, Art By Numbers, Deception Of A Ghost) which Anton commented on by saying, “When the album was ready to be sent off for production, we listened to albums of other bands and agreed that Jamie King was the perfect choice for the album.”

The band has already released three songs off the album. The first was back in October with a music video for the title track. The second single was released last month in the form of a lyric video for “Of Burden” which features guest vocals from Serj Kravchenko of Oceans Red (formerly known as Make Me Famous). The newest released track, “Set And Setting,” was released as an official live video. The band will be playing these tracks and more this Saturday during the Now Or Never Indoor Mini Festival that will take place in Poznan, Poland. The festival is headlined by Bury Tomorrow and The Defiled, and Anton had this to say about playing the festival, “We’re going to play with our friends from Eris Is My Homegirl and Bury Tomorrow. We’re really stoked to be a part of this festival!”

Started back in 2010, Eye Sea I is a six piece post-hardcore band from Narva, Estonia that wants to push the boundaries within their genre to create something unique. In September 2011, the band headed into the studio and spent almost a year writing and selecting only the finest material for their debut album called ‘Legend’. The album was mixed and mastered by Jamie King (Between The Buried And Me, Wretched, Art By Numbers, Deception Of A Ghost), while featuring guest vocals by Serj Kravchenko of Oceans Red (formerly known as Make Me Famous). The album was completed December 2012 and is slated for a 2013 release. With the mixture of catchy song structures, fast melodic riffs, ground shaking breakdowns and tender female vocals the band has brought something fresh to the scene to make a statement.
